(We are adding collapsible sections next week, but it's not really the same.) There are no plans to supported tabbed interfaces for anything but images. I can only imagine someone forgetting to add the tags and the infobox gets 2x long because of that. But agreeing to Briz it will be crucial to hide the tabber tags in the template. On another note, are there any plans to make it so we can tab just the part with the stats the rest of the infobox content? As that seems to be the remaining piece of the puzzle to complete Template:WeaponInfoboxU11 so we can add stats for multiple game modes.
Wikia infobox tabber code#
Yeah it works, but imho I feel like it puts too much complicated code directly on the article pages. But if you can't hide that tabber tag inside of a buffer template, it would have to show up on all of the article pages.
Wikia infobox tabber portable#
Looping this back in to the portable infoboxes, obviously you have to pass a tabber tag into the data tag for the portable infobox. This allows us to use the same template in a lot of different places, so people only need to supply the information they want presented rather than having to remember which template does what. You may notice that 90% of our infobox fields (keeping in mind that 120% of statistics are made up on the spot) are all #if'd to only show up if data is actually provided (see: the #if'ing for every header section of template:WeaponInfoboxU11). The goal was the hide the code for tabber from the article pages so users could just say "I want this image here" and then the infobox would render as necessary. With the infobox markup, I didn't see any way to do it OTHER than making it at least 2 layers deep. But obviously for the simpler templates, we'll just do what we need to make it work. Assigned to the data-item-name attribute in the resulting HTML.It's common in complicated templates to use meta-templates to simplify/standardize things. name Internal name for the element and its children. Cells are stretched to take up as much space as possible on the last row. Smart groups arrange their cells ( tags) horizontally, and automatically wrap to a new row once the current one exceeds that limit. row-items Turns the group into a smart group spanning n columns. Only available if the group's first child is a tag. Furthermore, Im just too exhausted by the template to redo the logic for it - it works for now, and I dont want to touch it with these.

That looks like it should work better, but honestly, a lot of the parsers in the main infobox template take advantage ofHowever, if the show attribute is set to incomplete, it will render all of the group's fields if at least one field is not empty.Īttributes layout Possible values: default, horizontal.
